Thanksgiving was great. We had family over for a lunch and just relaxed all day. It was very low key just how we like it. My sister and I began our annual Christmas shopping my getting in line at ToysRus at 4:30pm, we were the first ones in line this year! We even had our 15 minutes of fame on the local news channels :) We got great deals and were able to spread great Christmas cheer...Christmas was a wonderful celebration of Jesus birth. Chase really devoured the meaning of Christmas year. He said many times with a sincere heart that it wasn't about presents but about Jesus birthday. We watched lots of Christmas shows, baked and decorated Christmas cookies, went to Christmas at the Zoo, Jolly Days at the Children's Museum, and spent time with family and friends...it was a great season! New Years we celebrated with my dad at his house, It was nice visiting back home and was a very relaxing celebration at home. Chase even stayed up this year and had sparkling grape juice which he called bubbly juice :) Reflecting on the year of 2011 is sometimes hard to do...it was a HUGE year for us, it was challenging, BUT we made it through better than we could have ever hoped and we give God all the glory for He is the only One who made this all happen! We are so extremely blessed with the amazing friends and family we have including our very supportive church family. We are BLESSED!

2012 brings HUGE things for the Thomas family...First, Cayden got the all clear to attend the toddler class at church and for MOPS which means we can now worship together again, yay! Second, we are preparing to house shop and have hopes to purchase something in the spring, Third, we have a new niece that will be arriving in March and either a niece or nephew arriving in July :) We also have several friends that are expecting too! Yay for babies :) Fourth, our baby Chase who will be 5 yr this April will start kindergarten...pause for tears, tissue please :( Cooper Baby who will be 3yr is April will be starting preschool, sniff, sniff! and I will be down to just my sweet baby bug at home with me...it is going TOO FAST!!! Fifth, I expect GREAT things this year....family growth, school, new home, vacations, lots of time for friends and family, MOPS, etc.
I pray you all have a WONDERFUL year in 2012 and I look forward to sharing many more updates and stories on the Thomas Family of Five :)
