Spring Break "Cation"

We had a small spring break vacation or as the boys say cation. We went to Cincinnati, OH. We stayed at Melinda's house Friday and Saturday then headed to Great Wolf Lodge Sunday and Monday. We had a blast. We headed to the zoo where we got rained out after about an hour :( We did some shopping and also took the boys to Build A Bear. Great Wolf Lodge was a blast...all three boys had a great time. Cayden splashed and splashed. Chase loved the wave pool and tree house. Cooper LOVED the water slides, a little too much at times, he did not like waiting his turn! They enjoyed the pj storytime as well as playing in our room. It was a very nice little break for us with some really awesome family time!

Little Reflections of God

I love watching my boys interact with each other and EVERY time I look at them I think God has blessed me more than I could have ever asked for! I love them so much. The love for their Daddy and each other is just amazing. Saturday they were watching cartoons and playing with toys together. It just overwhelms me. Now, it isn't perfect all the time but I hope that when you look at our family you see the amazing love we have for each other and the love we have for God. I was at the MOPS Summit on Saturday and the speaker was talking about the fact and I do mean fact that we are all made in God's image. I believed this before I had kids but now being a mother I truly understand it, especially when I see the love my kids have for God. Chase is really grasping for God and I love that. I pray that Christopher and I can be used by God to reach our boys through their entire life. Just today Chase was telling me that he sees God in the rain and thunder. We talked about how even though we might not physically see God or audibly hear Him, He is always there. I mean Chase gets it! Cooper isn't quite there of course but he does fold his hands when we pray and he always says "amen". It is just a HUGE blessing to be able to teach and share our faith in God with our boys which are truly His boys. Thank you God for trusting Christopher and I to take care of the beautiful baby boys...we are BLESSED!!!

Spring...

Spring is here despite the weather it is here. Spring brings lots of busyness for the Thomas family. April brings Chase and Cooper's birthdays, Baseball, Easter, and lots of fun!

We signed Chase up for Teeball this year. Daddy is the assistant coach. We got his glove, helmet (youth size due to his big noggin), bat, and bat bag. We are still searching for cleats but are having trouble due to his tiny feet :) Janyce is on the same team so we are super excited to watch both of them learn and play teeball!

Cooper Baby is so funny right now...he is stubborn, mischievous, and sweet all in one! He is using lots of words and putting some sentences together.

Cayden is growing and gaining wonderfully most likely due to adding formula to his bottle to help with his eating issues. He is smiley and playful. He is really excelling in therapy and is starting to make progress with eating solids. I can't believe he is almost 1 year old...it goes by so fast!

Christopher is super busy at work and will traveling a few times in the next weeks. He is helping coach Chase's teeball team and umpiring so he is going to be super busy.

I am enjoying being at home with the boys and am gearing up for summer break. I am going to be taking on some leadership roles in MOPS next year and I am really looking forward to getting more involved. The boys birthday parties are being planned and I am getting it all put together.

Spring break is here and we are going to Cincinnati, OH this weekend. We are hanging with Melinda and hitting up some family fun spots. We are staying at Great Wolf Lodge Sunday and Monday...it should be a super fun time! Hopefully, the first of many spring break trips :)

Like I said Spring is here and the Thomas Family is ready for LOTS of FUN!!!
