Buddy

Chase and Cooper are the best of friends...now don't get me wrong they fight which is expected I mean they are brothers! However, most of the time they are so sweet to one another. Chase calls Cooper "Buddy" which I love because he came up with this all on his own...it isn't a name we use. Chase helps him when playing, eating, or if Cooper is upset...he is always there for him. Cooper just loves Chase....everything you ask him, the answer has something to do with Chase. I love that they are so close and I pray that they will always be that way...I can't wait until Cayden is old enough to be included in this bond...the Thomas boys!

Who do they look like???

Cayden
Cooper
Chase
After my last post, I wanted to see if the boys looked alike at the same age. I personally think that Chase and Cayden look very similar. Cooper is the spitting image of his Daddy. The pictures are of each boy at age one...do you think they look alike?

Bye Bye Baby Stage...

Chase

Cooper

Cayden
It is a sad week for this mommy...I have been packing away the "baby stuff",the baby tub, small hooded towels, etc. Cayden is in the big bathtub using his big boy bath seat and playing with his brothers. It makes me sad that I will not have any more little babies but very excited for the new adventures coming our way!

Summer Fun

We are 8 days into June...summer is in full force. We have begun summer reading at the library, went swimming, and have been playing tee ball. We did have to take a short hiatus from summer fun to recuperate from strep throat...major bummer! First, it was me, then Cooper, and then Chase...thank God Cayden and Christopher didn't get it! We are all healthy again and are enjoying the warm, I mean, HOT weather. Christopher and I went to the Cubs/Reds game in Cincinnati today and guess what the Cubs won!!! I mean seriously can it get any better??? It was super hot but lots of fun. The boys played with Tete and Aunt Megan while we were gone. They of course had a blast. We are hoping to hit the strawberry festival, zoo, and lots more pool time. What are you busy doing this summer???

Our first boo boo...

Cayden is crawling all over the place now. He is also pulling up to standing. He is even cruising along things a bit. With all this excited movement comes "accidents" Most of them are nothing and he does pretty well to shake them off but the other day we had quite a crash...he pulled himself up to standing using a lego box and he is a little top heavy so we went head first over the lego box right onto the cable box! He took it better than momma...of course! Soon he will be running circles around his big brothers. Man, are they in for a rude awakening...LOL!

Being Daddy...

My days are filled with the same question over and over again...when is Daddy coming home? Needless to say, we love our Daddy! We like to pretend we are Daddy and play "Daddy's work" where we talk into cell phones and tell people to pick up containers. We use Daddy's belts to make pirate sashes and we wear his hats. Finally, at the end of the day we wait patiently to hear the garage door go up and once it does we run as fast as we can to the door and yell Daddy's home! And when we wake up the next day we do it all over again...we LOVE our Daddy :)
